Hi all,

Another series from Antigua. I was out shooting with my friend yesterday evening we were down at a near by lagoon, and I was trying to get as low as possible.

There weren't many birds around, but this yellowlegs gave a nice opportunity for me to get my low angle shots, especially with its long legs.

All shot on my friends 10d with 500mm and 1.4 x tcon.

First time I'd ever used a 10d, I thought it performed very well.

Thanks for looking, C&C welcome

Hello Seany;

A nice series...

Are you Antiguan, living in London, or were these taken on vacation?

Thanks Lee, I'm actually English, lived in London most of my life, born and raised in Antigua, currently on vacation in Antigua, and moving to Antigua for good in July.

I hope you followed all that lol.

Hi Seany;

Well, I hope you enjoy island life...

I've visited Antigua twice - and really enjoyed it... Hope to get back there some day soon...

Cheers;

Lee

Great shots indeed. If possible I think that a little bit more space above the birds head in the first one would make it even better. Excellent work. :-)

Best regards

Sindri

Wow these are great. I love the bg on them. #3 is my best choice out of a great series.

Excellent set here...terrific angle, light and details...I am with Sindri on the first image and if there is no room on the top in the original you could still add canvass and just extend that nice brown/copper BG. Excellent work!!
