Super glue scares me. It's one of my weird phobias.
Can we use duct tape, please?

GMAE ladies and gents.

Looks like LORR is going to be a lot of fun. I want to state for the record I have read the books many times and have seen all the movies. I actually have a special edition of the LOTR Trilogy book. It's red leather in a red box. Got it as a gift when I graduated high school. :)

So is everyone having a wonderful day?

Well the contractor we WERE doing work for gave me another "the checks in the mail" really this time! I told them we want no more work from them but they are trying really hard to smooth things over. They really cannot understand no matter how much work they might have for us taking 55 days to get paid makes it not worth it. You would think any business would understand the importance of cash flow and how badly it effects a business when someone is late especially when your work is limited to large contracts where you can do only 4 jobs a month!

Well, I'm glad that they got the check in the mail at least.
It's hard to deal with those types of situations.

My day has started off irritating Renee. I'm considering getting a LARGE cup of coffee or an energy drink this afternoon to get me through the day.

[rant]
Might seem like a minor thing but overnight the GD city decided to turn HALF the available parking near my building into 2-hour parking. Which means that about 30 cars no longer have a place to park all day. Which pushes the employees further from the building, which pushes ME even further from the building since I don't arrive till 8 and others arrive earlier. It's a constant frustration in downtown Tacoma. ALL the free parking for all-day people is going away. As if I want to pay $100+ per month to park in a lot somewhere. I don't care if it's worse in Seattle. I don't live and/or work in Seattle so I don't give a D what they do up there. This is Tacoma and I want FREE PARKING!
[/rant]

I feel better! :D

Hi Kody. Glad you feel better :D

Renee, sorry for your frustrations. I hope things get better for you soon.

BTW, in case you all were wondering, I torched the check register. *dusts hands* Balancing problem solved :)
