So is everyone having a wonderful day?

Well the contractor we WERE doing work for gave me another "the checks in the mail" really this time! I told them we want no more work from them but they are trying really hard to smooth things over. They really cannot understand no matter how much work they might have for us taking 55 days to get paid makes it not worth it. You would think any business would understand the importance of cash flow and how badly it effects a business when someone is late especially when your work is limited to large contracts where you can do only 4 jobs a month!

My DH (I can't type that with grinning) does alot of work for businesses that only pay their bills once a month reguardless of when the work was done.

Bookmarked, for when I actually get better at this processing stuff. Most of the things you did there, I have never used, or even seen, before.

Kewl, let me get my tweezers. :p

If it helps any, I've read the books repeatedly (but have only seen FotR; have the DVDs of the other 2 awaiting viewing).

I gotta get a new agent; I'm getting typecast as the wise old cloaked figure . . .
:{)#

yay, I'm glad a few people have read the books anyway. He's basing the comic off the movie series though (even though he's read/seen both) because there are actually LESS characters in the movie

as for casting, well, he contemplated many characters for you Jon but somehow always came back to Gandalf

cfpackerfan wrote in post #5340355 (external link)
Much better than him seeing you uncloaked, don't you agree?

lol Cat!

Dang....*goes off to conceal spy cams better*

Vader is HUGE. I'll have to get a pic of him for you.

I was thinking about him the other day. When I got home, I noticed how incredibly large Calypso is and that reminded me of how big Vader was, last time I saw a photo of him.

add me to the frustrated campers list...I had my photos reprinted and am still not happy with the background black and how it came out. I specifically checked off the line that said I wanted my prints color checked by a real person before printing, if anyone had looked at it they should have seen the problem. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

who do you order your prints through?

My day has started off irritating Renee. I'm considering getting a LARGE cup of coffee or an energy drink this afternoon to get me through the day.

[rant]
Might seem like a minor thing but overnight the GD city decided to turn HALF the available parking near my building into 2-hour parking. Which means that about 30 cars no longer have a place to park all day. Which pushes the employees further from the building, which pushes ME even further from the building since I don't arrive till 8 and others arrive earlier. It's a constant frustration in downtown Tacoma. ALL the free parking for all-day people is going away. As if I want to pay $100+ per month to park in a lot somewhere. I don't care if it's worse in Seattle. I don't live and/or work in Seattle so I don't give a D what they do up there. This is Tacoma and I want FREE PARKING!
[/rant]

I feel better! :D

Get to work earlier. See that was easy just like the Staples commercial.

What type of work do you do, I know you probably said, but hey, I'm old. :p

We always pay a maximum of 30 days later, most often just as soon as the work performed is checked and confirmed complete by my Production Manager.
