I want to be at a place where they have 10 day long parties.

If you and Lisa ever come down to San Antonio area, come late April and I'll take you two to that party ;). Tomorrow we have the Fiesta Flambeau Parade....a night parade with lots-o-lights.

It was great fun....saw some very funny sights of very drunken people.

[Zane]Yes, yes I do [/Zane]

I wonder if the restraunt that served the big honk'n slices of cheesecake is still there? It would be nice to go back some time.

Which restaurant is that? Where is is located? I can't think of a restaurant that serves larger than normal slices.

So, much like Mardi Gras, but not as good then.

No great party...just not as nekkid. More family friendly :p

im sure deb prefers the older, rugged look compared to the latter:
young, athletic, energetic, sexy, slender, and firmer butt

Lets keep that to yourself next time ;)

He is also a Cannon direct dealer. Should be interesting to see what pans out from all this.

Hopefully it will be access to wholesale prices of gear that we all can order thru you
Have fun.

You lock your doors. We do when leaving for a few days, but if we are running out for a few hours we don't bother. I would feel like a victim of crime without one being committed if I was guilted in to locking my door. I know, I probably the exception here.

*writes in note pad:Jim does not lock doors at home. Get all camera gear.*

puddlepirate44 wrote in post #5404448 (external link)
Ooo, where did I put that. Was it in my Gucci bag or that little clutch from when I went to that garden club meeting....

Dood....you carry a Gucci man-purse? Are you metrosexual...spending hours in front of a mirror getting every single hair to lay the right way.

Turn in your danglies.

Umm....ever since declaring that you like them Woolbacca manties...I think you should turn them in also. Just saying.

Jon wrote in post #5404799 (external link)
Right! See if I cut you any slack when you can't get the 40D past 3 fps!

How do you do that again?

I had a scare today with my 40D though. I pushed the AF-ON button and heard the IS speeding up...I glanced at the top LCD and it was flashing BUSY. I thought that was odd....so I tried to take a shot...nuthin. I switch the camera off and back on...it was dead. I almost started to panic, but held it in until I tried the battery removal trick. That helped reset what ever was wrong and the 40D has been acting normal since.

I murdered your smilies to make mine work...moment of silence for those who passed.

Hmm. Yesterday I got the dreaded err-01 on my 40D with the tammy. Power-cycling the camera seemed to do the trick.
