It's different in that you're looking at the screen instead of the paper. That took some getting used to. The "pen" that I use does adapt to pen pressure. The lines get darker and fatter as I press harder. The tablet itself has eight different buttons that can be customized. I'm not sure how to do that yet. I haven't read that far. The old wacom that I had was very unresponsive, sluggish. This is extremely sensitive and quick. There is a further learning curve in that there is so much potential with this item, I'm afraid I'll never get a good grasp on all it can do. That coupled with the recent addition of CS3, I'm afraid my brain will explode before the weekend is out. I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.
