:D His shirt was fun! There was a "brush" that I had never seen before, and it was a rose. All those colored dots are little roses. :D

Weird. I've never had that happen. I wonder what would cause that...

okay...really have you ever seen someone else's shots and just thought "if I could ever do that, I'd KNOW I was a photographer?"

well Scotlet posted this guy's gallery over in RRTP. The guy lives in Corvallis...shoots all the same landscapes that I do and I don't have one thing...not one in my gallery that can compare. HOW CAN SOMEONE LOOK AT THE SAME thing and shoot such amazing shots?? I'm in awe....

How was the zoo? I haven't been to the L.A. Zoo in a few years. I miss the meerkats.

It was OK; not the best for photography. Of course, we may have been spoiled by the San Diego Zoo...

John...that is the coolest shot you have shared...very cool!

Becky N wrote in post #5400625 (external link)
Chiming in on the admiration of this shot and your artistry.

We don't have the Pro account, yet, but; so far have no problems have no problem sharing the account. We keep pretty organized by using the catogories to list ours, his, and mine. Our catogories are used to organize our performance venues, theatre, music, etc.; our family shots; and our individual collections.

I need to explore a bit more on customizing our home page. I seem to be leaning toward a look like T.D. has. Not sure if what our limitations are at our level, Power Account, I think.

Thanks both of you for the comment on my picture and thanks Becky for the information about Smugmug.

Thanks for the reminder, I had meant to comment on this shot too. I really love this one John, the warm colours work so great to set the mood for the silhouetted lovers. :D

Thanks.

'Farfrumir' *snort* Love the name.

I don't have the pro account (yet) but I do have some ideas. :D

You can visit HERE (external link) to get MANY ideas on how to customize your page. Scroll down to SmugMug support.

And HERE (external link)for questions.

One idea I have, don't know if it would work well or not, is you can create 2 galleries only on your main gallery page: One for Heather, and one for you, then create sub galleries and categories in each for your albums. (Did that make sense?)

I did a little looking at their category heirachy and I'm thinking it might be easier to create subcategories for each of us under the catergories I already have established.

Kody I know some folks are saddened by my clients, but know that they are very happy fulfilled individuals who have enough joy in each day to make up for the rest of us!

I wish I could be that happy all the time...

 You lock your doors. We do when leaving for a few days, but if we are running out for a few hours we don't bother. I would feel like a victim of crime without one being committed if I was guilted in to locking my door. I know, I probably the exception here.

Around here we lock the doors when we are in the house.

I'm now going to break all the Man Rules and read the instruction manual. :o

Jon wrote in post #5404775 (external link)
Sorry you fell for that base canard that Real Men Don't Read Manuals. Real Men want to get every last bit of performance out of whatever they've got. If that means RTFM, they'll do it. He!!, I even read manuals for stuff I don't have just to tell the people who do how to do something.

You guys are going to give the rest of us a bad name...
