Gear Wars: Cruisin' For A Bruisin'

:lol::lol::lol:

Nice pictures all.

So what will Poppie Guy get slapped with should he need one?

Hope all goes will for Calypso.

Good to hear things went well for Crissa.

Back to the month-end from...well never mind, suffice to say it is not going well...one of those hurry up and wait months. Reports aren't running correctly for me to get the data for my reports, etc.

It's funny, but I've been drawing these avatars for the cast of the TR's for the last month. I usually start with the characters that I use the most, TD, Chief, Wool, Permie, Wu, etc. Odd thing happened along the way.... I got the Wacom tablet, we got CS3, and I started to learn how to use both. Subsequently, the avi's I did at the end were better quality than the ones I did at the beginning.

For example, here's one that I did for Wool a few weeks ago:

HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

and here's one I did today:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

Bit of a difference.

Here's what it looked like in progress:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

Is the Tablet making it a lot easier for you?

A little bit. I think I could ink faster on paper, but the scanning and adjusting afterward takes more time. In the long run, the tablet will make things considerably less complex. Gives me time for other projects.... ;)

I did. :o

The problem was the first one was considerably smaller, like a half a page, so when I applied the texture, it was more noticeable than when I applied the same parameters for texture on the larger Wool. :o
