Interesting history. I looked up the breed in Wiki. The pictures they have don't show them holding their tails up like she is in the video. Does she just do that when she is excited?

It is more up when she is excited and playing. She holds it down a bit more when she's relaxed.

Originally the breed was used for hog hunting in Australia. They have retractable claws, and can climb trees.

We have always called Ginger our 'tree climbing pig dog'.

You can do a search on youtube and see quite a few Catahoulas. Some carry their tails high, some low.
Ginger is a rare 'solid color' with her only spots being on her chest and feet. And she's got the gold eyes instead of the cracked glass eyes too.

Adventures to be continued...

Nice Flat Stanley pics :D I love your flower pics too. :D

 I've told the wife numerous times...we need two more since there are two unused rooms upstairs and the guest room. Some how, I don't think she's listening to me.

Looks like it might happen tonight too.
...I have a mini rant coming up :D Maybe two.

I had to quote this, because it looks funny together.

Thanks Cat....it's supposed to be the house we retire in. Though, wife has been talking about selling the house and making off like bandits with the profits in it....so far...well, I'll spare you the shock. :D

I had forgotten where you were going to be, but remembered that you were busy that weekend.

That does look funny doesn't it?

So close, yet so far away. I have to get to bed, so I guess either the overnight or early morning crew will have to roll us over.....packed the leg lamp already...just waiting for the forwarding address.

Night folks.

Hi Crissa,

Woohoo - glad to hear it.

Sounds good - what did you get?

And music too. Anything good to share?

Yes you do as he arrived in Illinois too. Alas, poor Stanley seems to have had a partial lobatomy.;)Adventures to be continued...

These are great :) Hmmm... wonder how he partially lost his head. I e-mailed my wife the shot of him in front of the cabin.

Holy chromatic aberration, Batman! What lens did you use for this shot? ... I almost thought Lensbaby, but the focal plane seems rather straight.

Hey, I tried. I can't seem to push off this sub-par TC on anyone :|

Perhaps you could market it as a sub-par hockey puck, paper weight or door stop?
