According to my home thermometer the high today was 96° and right now it's still 90° (4:30 PM)...

4:41pm here. It's 79.2F inside and 79.3F outside. I thought *I* lived in the desert. I didn't know San Diego got so hot...

Kitteh update:
She finally visited the bathroom litter boxes for the first time I know of just a couple minutes ago (I bought a new one for the living room a few days ago, just for her). Pee-Yew! What the heck have I been feeding her?!? I'm glad she did that in the bathroom!

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Yeah, we fool people sometimes... And I live within five miles of the coast.

Every once in a while one of ours will drop a bomb that permeates the whole house...

I've called Minnie "Ashley" at least a dozen times in the past 24 hours, and it's really bugging me... Until last week I hadn't made that mistake more than three times since I adopted her.

It must have something to do with our rapidly approaching trip to Gold Country.

Evenin' , Zack...

I really should be checking out of here soon, though. I haven't even started packing for the trip, yet!

Don't worry. It happens. At least you didn't accidentally call your wife by your ex wife's name ...

Went to a little farm museum w/ christopher. Not many pictures because of carrying the kid.

There was a blacksmithing association there, forming metal. That was really cool!

My friend lost a son to SIDS in 2004... his name was Tristan. She now has almost 18 mo old twins... Kristian and Kadeon.... I go through spells where I call Kristian... Tristan... It's an easy mix up but we've decided that it is at those times that he's got an extra eye on us! :) It was a tragic difficult loss for family and friends... So we like to think that Tristan is our guardian angel!

Wow, passenger can't even see where has been, then.
Occasionally like last summer, but the trees are lost to the river. Some shots from last summer:
The River:
This playground is several yards from the river, normally
Same dam as posted earlier, other side though. The fencing on the other side of the river is the millrace inlet:
The Millrace behind the mill, the statues would be up stream about 20 yards from here:

 That's a lot of water!
