Sounds like that commercial Nikon had for the D40. Anyone remember that?

Yeah, something like SLR town... I think they gave a small town a bunch of em.

But yeah, sounds very similar. Except I'm pretty sure Nikon didn't advertise on craigslist.

Seems strange they would advertise on craigslist, but if it's a scam, what is the benefit to the scammer? He's not asking for money, unless that's the "sign up" part.
