Hi, i recently upgraded from a ixus i7 zoom (sorry dont know the US name) to an Ixus 860 IS (Powershot SD870 IS).
i have just noticed that on videos recorded on the 860 there is a high pitched whine (i dident get this with my old camera), its not extremely loud but it is very annoying.
you can hear a very quiet whine when the camera is on so i presume that this is the noise the microphone is picking up.
has anyone else had this problem?
is it enough of a problem to ask for a replacement? (i bought it online so this is going to be a pain to do)
is there a fix?

thanks in advance
:)

You should not have that noise. Definately look into a replacement. I know it's a pain, but that shouldn't be like that, and you'll never get happy with it.
