They go all the way to the ankle, what happened to the long socks with the stripe down the side with the pant to mid-calf? Did I miss a whole part of baseball? I remember pants like this (external link)

Manny is breaking one of the golden rules of sliding. You are to slide away from the tag. He should have been sliding on the home plate side of third base.

Fenway is great about letting people bring Cameras in. As long as the Camera/Lens does not interfere with others enjoyment/viewing of the game, you are allowed to have it. When I bring mine, I get there as early as possible and get batting practice, and just walk around the ballpark taking pictures.

It's truly fantastic.
