I am glad that I opted for the 12-24mm Tokina

Although the 12-24mm f/4 Tokina ATX wide angle lens is built to be used on a 1.6x format body, It is not an EF-s lens.

I am glad about that because I have just obtained an older Canon D60 camera which has been modified for full-time infrared photography. I can use my 12-24mm Tokina on this camera but, could not have used the 10-22mm Canon on my "new" D60!

Do you get any 'hot spots' with IR and the Tokina? (If you haven't tested, you can do so easily by shooting a white card at 12 and 24mm at a few different apertures - the hot-spot will show up more as you stop down and be most noticable at f16 ). I haven't tested this lens with IR so am interested in your experience.
