I like the combination. Of the two photos the first is better, but I scrolled down to the second and could just hear the baaaaaaaaa.

no, i used the AF-ON button cos i have a 40D :D
both my cameras were swapped over on that day and i have NEVER looked back - i even spot metered for the sky with shutter then dropped down to recompose :p
MUCH prefer shooting that way, feels so much less hit & miss and i get more consistent results

awwww no tree... Man, it was 18+ years ago I went there at least, and the tree looked a bit dodgy then... mind you I had a Pretty dodgy camera back then!...

a protestor cut down the tree... they had 2 goes at it and then it was removed before it died and fell on someone

they even tore out the stump because it was becoming a focal point for disputing groups
