You could well be right Andy, that was my first gut feeling when I took the shot. It was only when a bunch of 'experts' went for WW that I changed my mind.

Great set!

Are you sure about the "common buzzard?" It looks hawkish to me, but I'm pretty much a newcomer! Any references?

Lovely series, Roy. I was getting confused with the Willow-Chaffs and Chiff-Warblers too with this shot.

Hi Tony, The UK Buzzard is a Hawk/rapture and quite a different species to the US Buzzard.

Ahhh, ok, I didn't realize that!

Out here, I got used to calling the "turkey vulture" a buzzard, but then read that it's more properly known as a, well, turkey vulture.

So, over there, a buzzard is closer to a hawk!
