Finding your exact shutter count?

I am full of questions today lol.
How do you check the exact shutter count on your camera? I have a 30D.

I don't think you can, unless you have a 1D series body.

You can't. Only Canon can do that with their proprietary software.

Your 30D rolls over after 9999, so if you know how many times it's rolled over, then you can figure out your shutter count.

Unless you've used a CF card from a different camera or reset the count in camera, or fired the camera without a CF card in place. There are many things you can do that will create a shutter actuation/image number mismatch.

You can take it to a local Canon office, and I have heard they will tell you for free....
