It's a Dell Desktop, just a little bit older than the camera. No new software loaded recently and it happened today. Last time I uploaded pix -- about a month ago -- it worked. The one other time it did not recognize the camera I restarted the computer and then it worked. This time I tried that, and nothing.

Yes, in fact there was a message the other day that there was an update and the computer was restarted.
