GRRR-

ZZ TOP- The best little band from Texas !

And what about Dallas's own Stevie Ray Vaughn, my all time favorite blues musician!

Ok, That's #34 and #35 ... Two great musical talents hail from the fatherland! ;)

#36 ... Everybody in the NFL wants to play for your team* (or so it seems)! But then, how can you blame them. Dallas, on average, plays in the super bowl once every 6 years, wins a super bowl once every decade, and makes it to the playoffs at least every other year!! ;)

*...of course I am referring to the cowpokes, but I will pay my respects to the Texans too!

#37 ... The simple identity of being a "Texan" is strong enough to be a mascot for an NFL team!

She asked me, "May I give you the bird?"...I smiled, then she asked a uniformed SF police officer, he smirked...

#40 ... The Rockett Cafe in Rockett, TX (part of Waxahachie, TX) is a unique place where I have found the absolute best chicken fried steak and the largest juiciest burgers I have even heard of!

David Crockett
Samuel Houston
James Bowie

Sam Houston was born in Virginia
Jim Bowie was born in Kentucky
Davey Crocket was born in Tennessee

Sorry, but while the did defend Texas, they were not born there. But Bowie and Crocket DID die there.

Sorry guy, I'm on the other side of the water from you. Just about a 45 min drive across the Antioch Bridge, or the Benicia Bridge. ;)
