Nice shot.

What are those circles on the left side of the picture? I see three.

Thats an awesome shot! I'm also curious as to what caused the circles on the left. Nevertheless, great job!

I think it was small drops of rain on the lens. Thanks for the comments everyone btw....

nice! i dont know how everyone else does it, but when i shoot lightning, i use a long exposure.. seems to get good results .. seeing that catching a bolt with a fast shot is .. um... ;)

The three "ghosts" are caused by lens flare (as noted by Craig and may result from a filter on the lens); the rounded hexagonal shape indicates that the diaphragm on this lens has six blades.

Great to see some lightning shots appearing in here in the last week or so, been a while unless I have missed them.

Nice capture, didn't look to far away either.

Nice shot, good color. The circles are small rain drops. They tend to plague us lightning photographers. Nothing you can do sometimes other than wipe the lens after every shot. Other times you need to abandon the storm if there is too much rain or spray from the ground and wind. I can't wait until storm season starts here in Florida!!! First year I'll have two cameras to shoot with. Good luck and stay safe..
