I always slowed down in the months of January-March. Things are so drab around here rreally from Nov-April. So other than a couple of winter landscapes and family at the holidays,The camera stayed in the bag. Now that I'm shooting school sports, I'm shooting at some type of game 5-6 days a week, Sept. through May. I can't wait for the summer and shoot for "myself"

I want his 500L F4, OK??? This happened to me in cycling/racing. I raced for 4 years and one day I realized I didn't want to suffer anymore. Asking myself why I am spending the little spare time I have and go race bikes. I didn't win any race. That was it. I literally quited that hobby.

That reminds me of my guitars. :( I'm 25, bought my first guitar when I was 13. In the beginning I took lessons for a couple of months (maybe up to 6mths I can't remember) anyways I learned some chords and basic stuff. I quit guitar lessons and just "jammed" with my friends (more like hanging out and making a bunch of noise, we weren't actually playing anything TOGETHER). Anyways over the years I played less and less, it would become days and weeks between the time I'd pick up a guitar and practice. This past year I decided I wanted to get back into it and had lessons again for a month. They weren't going to bad, but the following month was my wedding so I quit. I also started to buy my first DSLR equipment, and competely lost interest in quitar. I just wasn't getting the "feel" for guitar anymore, and I haven't played since last year. :(

I am also feeling like this, started a week ago....
I have shot nearly everything within a 2 mile (walking distance) radius of my house.... I would TOTALLY go out every day, but I am 15, can't drive, and my parents wont take me places just to take pictures.
The only thing I feel can cure my now, are taking some posed, real, portraits... Guess I will have to convince a few people to model for me

I live just down the hill in Lake Forest, and there isn't much to shoot around here. I miss Huntington Beach, I used to live 10 minutes away from the pier, and there is almost always surfers out there.

I would dis-agree. I can't tell you the number of things I've tried in my life that I've lost interest in after a few days/weeks/months, never to pick up again.

Interests change, people change and often times once the newness or "wow" factor wears off, something may just not really seem that interesting anymore.

On the other hand, with the things I've stuck with and love to do, my interest ebbs and flows. I go through "cycles" of extreme interest to times of dis-interest.
