So I got my new Sigma 24-60, and I want to make sure 100% that I want to get rid of the 17-85.
Wondering if there are certain things that are best to shoot? So far I've shot a fish food container (orange fish with blue background, small text for sharpness comparison) I'm just wondering if the round shape of the container could be bad for focusing? I have my tripod locked in all positions, and I've been swapping the lenses without moving anything. I'm shooting in JPG so that everything is exactly the same.
So far the Sigma is WHOOPING the Canon. Also, the Canon is wider by a few mm. Strange. I just want to make the most accurate tests before I post a writeup.
