Just 2 days ago, I was criticizing my buddy who kept on buying lenses. I said "there are photographers and then there are equipment junkies." "And you is an equipment junky dood..."

Then I came across a really good deal on 17-40mm L and 85mm 1.8 today. I couldn't pass them up... so I bought em.

I lined up the lenses and realized that I'm a junky too.

the bear does have a natural attraction to the white lens it must be because they match! red and white!

I don't know... that white lens is quite fast...but I'm thinking 85mm f1.8 is sharper.. of course apples and orange..

The bear is just confused as the other "white" lens is hiding in black disguise :p

The bear looks a bit soft to me - better carry out a load of meaningless focus tests to check for front-focus... :-)
