What do you think? I just switched to the Smugmug Pro account from Pbase and need your opinions on the two sites I created.

I like SM for the unlimited storage but hate the $150 a year to sell maybe $25 a year.

Pbase I use a Paypal script to sell. Processing photos is a 3 step process with Pbase.

I tried to keep them as simple as possible,

If you think SM just has UNLIMITED storage over PBase, you better look again. They have SO many extra features its crazy. I only pay $99/yr, but I have been with them awhile.

Don't get me wrong, I love SM and have been with their standard account for 4 years and just upgraded to the Pro. $99 a year I'd stay without hesitation.

One feature that I love on the pro account is the idea of uploading the photos right away, and when they are previewed and ordered, they let you know so you can edit the photos then re-upload them so its less time editing them.

Damn, I got find that feature. I send hours processing so they look good and people will buy. But I like your way much better. So I'll get an order, process the picture and reupload it or edit online? I know I can proof an order, samething?

I had 20GB on smugmug but I have recently stripped it all and starting over. I have a friend that is in the design business and he is making letterheads, envelopes, business cards, forms, and a website for me. I stripped it all so I can start from scratch and once he finishes the site Im going to re-upload photos.

My P-Base is from a few years ago. that is my old stuff and I just didn't take my stuff down. Its the only place where I have my PORTA-POTTIES on fire photos ;) lol that was funny....

WOW...I've got a pbase account but have never seen the option to sell pictures from it. How were you able to accomplish this??
