I have a crumpler bag that I use all the time. It's about 5-6 years old. However, during the week I ride to work and use a messenger bag. the crumpler is to fat to throw in the messeger bag to take with me, plus it's redundent. I was looking for a slim case / bag that fits just the camera with the lens attached. I've searched the threads and can't find anything close to what I'm looking for. I know nikon has a leather pouch for the D50 that acts like a second skin almost.
I just need it to be protected from scratches and dings it would get by bouncing around while I'm riding. the lens is a 30mm fixed w/ 62mm diameter. so it's short but fat.

p.s. any other riders out there that have biking and camera solutions I'd be interested in that as well. Riding with equipment, tripods, etc....
