i had a chance to go back to wyoming to visit with my biological mom that i met 2 years ago. i went back for my birthday and was the first birthday my mom and i have spent together since i was born. anyhoo.....

this is my niece shelby and it started to snow. she is such a photogenic young girl.

I love it. I think your post processing gives it a cold feeling, which matches your shooting situation. I also love the slight blur which gives it a memorable feeling.

it's not selective color...just some desaturation on most of the shot and a little more saturation on the jacket. selective color is b/w with color.

Nice shot... See, I am SOOO glad that spring is here but then I look at a photo like this and I think darn I didn't get a shot like this when we got dumped on this winter with 13 feet of snow. I can't believe that I missed getting a shot like this. Oh well. Being in Michigan and with the type of winter we had this year it would not shock me if we still got 1 more snowfall. Lets pray we don't..

thanks everyone for the comments.

heather - yeah, i live in north carolina and haven't seen snow in a few years, so it was nice to back home to wyoming and see 6" of snow dump.
