Water birds are stacked up in the Twin Cities, waiting for the lakes up north to thaw. This is a short-lived opportunity to get close right here in town. Today I was out at a local park where there were many loons and different types of ducks. I'll probably head back out there in a little bit to see what kind of light there is, but here's what I got this afternoon.
