Nice. I'm partial to the linear line composition.. One suggestion is finding a slightly different time of day to shoot. an hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset is the best time. especially for landscapes.

Arizona, Texas, and everywhere in between kinda looks the same to me - especially along I-20 from Abilene to El Paso HAHA

yea time of day is a bit difficult for me, being a single father has some limitations on that - but its more than worth it :D

I like the composition. The amount of sharpening is ideal for printing, but less sharpening would be better for a web image. However, in this case, I do like the way that the sharpening has accentuated the texture of the rural highway. I can't comment on pop since I am not sure what that is supposed to mean. I prefer to talk about definable characteristics of an image.

I am going back out in this same area later on this week, when i have a couple of days off where i can shoot with out the kids being around too much - they seem to get a bit impatient when i take them shooting

I kinda thought I over sharpened it a bit also, when I was editing it on my laptop, it looked really good - but when I looked at it again on an actual monitor it was a bit over sharp and just didn't look right...
