Yes they take my staples out Tuesday, and 12 days after having back surgery I'll be on a 7 day cruise to Mexico / Grand Cayman Island with my wife :) Doc says it's ok, I just have to be careful to not bend, twist or sit for too long.

ANYWAYS... I bought a Canon AE-1 Sure Shot waterproof Film 35mm camera to play with under the water (before my back went out, now I can't snorkel) so I'll have it with me, but I guess I'm curious of the experience of those who brought their DSLR with them on a ship. It's going to be nice and sunny everywhere, so it'll probably be my first time to really use the Circ. Polarizer I bought (and paid good money for!)

I'm wondering how safe it is to carry my camera on shore. Going to Cozumel, Costa Maya and Grand Cayman. Just didn't know if there was a risk of getting it ripped off my shoulder.

Any ideas or experience from those who have taken a cruise or visited any of the islands with their camera is appreciated!

P.S. I plan on just taking my small Canon Bag, which fits my 20D with grip, 100-400L and 28-75 Tamron perfectly, and maybe the 550EX.

Thanks!
Adam
