Just curious as to what books or videos (or even websites...although im more intersted in videos) do people recommend for learning photoshop. I have seen just some awesome pictures by people on this forum and would love to learn.

The Scott Kelby ones are great to learn photoshop. Professional wedding photographer, solution architect and general technical guy with multiple Amazon Web Services certifications.
