I have three Vivitar SB-4 power supplies, one made in the US and A (older I think 70's) and two made in Hong Kong (also old but maybe more like 80's).

They have input voltage stated at 117 (US) and 120 (Hong Kong) printed on them. Is there any chance you think these could handle 220-240V?

Also; the stated flashes to use with these supplies are Vivitar 272, 273 and 283 for the US version and 283, 2500 and 3500 for the Hong Kong version. I was under the impression the 285HV used the same power supply? Why isn't that model stated on these supplies in that case? I'm thinking that model is apprx. as old as the above stated models?
