Not sure about my other finals... they don't grade as quickly... I have one left tomorrow (Microeconomics).

Just some plans didn't work out as I had hoped, but some replacement plans were made that I will live with.

Guess this means there are no sunset photos tonight.

She is sick... slept all night and all day with a fever off and on... but she is going to see if she is well enough to get lunch/coffee tomorrow (her idea - for once I don't have to suggest things)... she is packing tomorrow too, so I will likely help with that since packing while sick is a pain.

Luckily her roommate is in the nursing program - so she tells me that she is getting some great care :-D

(I got some of her favorite photos I have taken printed... will give her those tomorrow)

Yeah... she really wanted to go shooting and get away from school - but sickness always has other plans... That is what staying up to 3am writing papers does to you!

Oh well - gives me an "in" for the Yosemite suggestion :-D

Permie, all tripod stuff is still on sale at Pro Photo. For me, a trip to Pro Photo and Fry's ( with money to spend ) would be an awesome birthday!

yeah...we got him a nice BDAY present (he can tell you) but at Fry's.

I ended up buying a tripod though. I've relegated the velbon and the wimberly to solely 300 2.8 use...it's too hard to remove the wimberly all the time.

I'm not sure about the tripod I bought. It isn't CF but I really like how it's set up...but it's 4.9lbs. They said I've got 30D days to make up my mind. I bought a tripod strap for it too since it didn't come with a bag.
