Howdy. It's pretty quiet here considering all the excitement of the mouse's resurrection and all that.

I just got back from my morning walk. Went by a house with 4 large dogs caged in a small back yard. Lots of noise. A block down the road I met the next door neighbor who was walking home. It took him 15 minutes to convey his disappointment.

Moooo, yawl...

I'll be checking in and out today. I've still got a bunch of processing to do from the weekend. The rest of the Stearman fly-in pictures are done and can be seen here. (external link)

I always loved Stearmans.

I saw a photo on another website recently of something purported to be a Stearman, but it had an engine cowl. The rest of it looked right, but I don't recall any ever being built that way. It could have been modified. Don't know. There's a white biplane in your shots, and it has a full cowl. It appears to be a Waco, though. What was it doing there?

My advice? Get on a bus and sleep.

:D Suburbia is a little short on buses.
Actually, I think there is a bus that stops near my apartment. It's not a big anonymous one, though so the "Toney Town" cops would probably arrest me for vagrancy. :)

Okay. Forget the bus. Just curl up on the sofa and pretend it's the back seat on the bus.

I wish I could go to sleep and not wake up till November. I am so sick of the elections, and we still have 7 months of this foolishness. Actually, I was sick of them 6 months ago. The process has become so all-absorbing, it detracts from real problems that have to be dealt with soon.

I occasionally marvel at the similarities between politics as practiced in this country, and professional wrestling.

They are too far from my house to be a bother, but apparently a Sandy officer lives in the neighborhood. I think there is a small section of that housing development.... across from Jonsrud Point... that is not in the city, and that is where the dogs live. It is the group of houses furthest north. Just for fun, walk by there sometime.:)
