Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

I am. Business is slow. That's the way with start-up. I hope it picks up SOON. FInding a job has been impossible, even though there are many jobs here. Heck, Lowe's and such places wouldn't even hire me!

Whoa!!

We took our friend and his wife out to dinner last night to celebrate his 75th birthday. He dropped the bombshell on us that Lowe's just hired him to work in their La Quinta store. He'll be working 25 hours a week or so. I wonder what's so different here?

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

yeah it's slow here too..I was hoping to have at least a few weddings this summer but everyone says $995 is too much. I think it's too much work to charge less than that.

edit: actually what they say is "I'd rather spend the money elsewhere"

Have you thought about what I suggested? I think you could do well.

I would be further along in this if I had ANY connections here. I could travel hours to do this for folks who want it, but it's way too expensive right now.

Dunno. I thought the degree could be holding me back.

That's possible. Not many managers would want to risk having someone around who is clearly much brighter than they are. Makes 'em look bad.

I don't really have any connections here either. I'm not good at selling things.

But he doesn't have ordinary stuff. He's cornered the market on the rare 300-75 and 90-28 zooms. Everyone has zooms that go the other way!
