We took our friend and his wife out to dinner last night to celebrate his 75th birthday. He dropped the bombshell on us that Lowe's just hired him to work in their La Quinta store. He'll be working 25 hours a week or so. I wonder what's so different here?

yeah it's slow here too..I was hoping to have at least a few weddings this summer but everyone says $995 is too much. I think it's too much work to charge less than that.

edit: actually what they say is "I'd rather spend the money elsewhere"

Have you thought about what I suggested? I think you could do well.

I would be further along in this if I had ANY connections here. I could travel hours to do this for folks who want it, but it's way too expensive right now.
