Did you guys notice on today's strip that I'm LOSING at hangman...and the word is canon? Sheesh :lol::lol::lol:

I wasn't going to mention that, but . . . your Darker Side coming out?

DWilkin wrote in post #5488054 (external link)
Not really. My brother's wit is legend, but, alas, it has a darker side to it. Some day, when I can control my emotions, I will relate a tragic story of our youth, when I was 11 and Tom was 5, and, because of my brother, I was severely and brutally punished by our father (spanked) for a humorous misdeed of his that caused me to laugh precisely at the peak of our father's ire. He would have undoubtedly been spanked as well, but he was very good at feigning sleep. The experience twisted me for life. My only camera is a Nikon and the only train pictures I take is of cabooses. I really can't say any more about this. I'm weeping uncontrollably now and the memory is too ... it's too ... it's too ... (sob)

Sorry, but ROFL!

OK...this thing was posted on another thread...I guess I am dense...because I have no idea what this is supposed to be.

"Young Man . . . " For some unknown (to me) reason, that was the biggest hit of my 25th HS reunion . . .

I didn't know either...but Dan did....it's the YMCA with Jesus doing the Y

Yep.

I thought it was obvious, I guess not  That said, I don't quite understand why someone would post that on this forum

Yes, and neither do I.

Why is it that I have the funny feeling that being in the same room with the two of you could be hazardous to one's funny bone?

We enjoy ourselves. Sadly, our respective spouses think we're a bit silly.

What do they know? They're only women.

Hang on, I forgot to charge the batteries for my flash, then I had to find the batteries and then the flash. So basically, I had to clean my room... The batteries are charging :).

Well, if you really, really, really knew me, you'd know I'm completely intimidated by women, all women, even little girls, and especially all the regular participants in the thread. It's easy to be reckless when protected by the anonymity of the internet.

You're right, Wu. Silly is good when judiciously applied.
