tripod, shutter release....the focus showed it nailed that center line but the shots are all bf...and the 5.6 is very soft

Just curious....isn't one of the selling points of the Mk3 the ability to micro adjust for slight focus issues?

yeah, and I could do that but it's SO SOFT at 5.6...

yeah. I really REALLY love the 70-200 and the 300. I was just looking for a more versatile lens (if I carried one camera). I'm just not destined to own the 1-4 I guess.
