No, thinner, but I needed one for my P&S little case. That strap is crap! So, now I can carry all 5 of my cameras around my neck. :)

The POTN one is large and takes up a lot of room in a bag, but worth it. I think I would be miserable having to carry my 2 heavy set-ups all day long without them. I have 3, gave away the blue one.

I would be very sad if I did that. My friend dropped her new Pentax after only a month. She has tape on it now.
