Panning at 1/20 is hard! But amazing when captured!

You only have to nail one shot at 1/20 to be hooked forever!

it looks hack as its really does make no sence to anything code related (as far as i know) but then it could be a internal error

B&H is closed for the week...the goofy message went up Friday night right after they closed...I suspect someone messed up when they entered it.

Their calendar doesn't correspond to the Christian/Roman calendar that we use.

Two portraits from today. Shot with 5D + 400 f/5.6L. First one if our "guide" on the workshop. He is a proffesional mortorsports photographer so we got some nice tips.

The 400has great bokeh for portraits - good job.

gahhhh...I FINALLY solved a problem that I could have solved months ago had I been more attentive to things.

My two cameras clocks were not in sync...so when I'd upload and then have my photos sort by "capture time" my photos are in a mess and completely disorganized. I THOUGHT you couldn't change the time once you originally set it...but I just found out that you could. Silly me...I should have asked ages ago instead of just assuming.

I was thinking of trading my 24-105 for a 135 f2.

Do you think this is a bad trade? The price of the 135 is a couple of hundred less than the 24-105...I could just sell the 24-105 and buy a used 135 instead...

(thinking aloud here...)

If you do a lot of headshots...the 135 is a sweet lens...

.

Anyway, I've made my decision now, based on all the information I could find and am content with it. But it's been a while in coming.

As far as my photos go...I KNOW I'm hard on myself. I try not to be, but all I see is the mistakes I've made. Becky very kindly exhorted me last night, to spend some time shooting (to remember the reason I became a photographer in the first place), just because I love to shoot...and as soon as the weather clears, I'm going to do just that.

Okay then. You better do it and get happy with your stuff again. I am grinding along on these wedding photos...printing some as I go to remind myself that they look just lovely on paper;)

About 3/4 of them were over-exposed in the background and the subjects were all too dark. Thank goodness for the gamma button!!!

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Maybe we should trade lenses and see how each other likes it. Skip has been dying to get his hands on the 24-105 and my 135 gets less use than I would like. It really does killer work but I am not using it as much as I could.
