New Camera - New Adventures

Okay...so I got this brand spankin' new fangled camera and decided to try it out with the local school as the backdrop...sort of speak. They had Track, Softball, Baseball, and Soccer going on, all at the same time. Spent most of my time at Track not realizing that softball was rapidly going through the innings and Soccer wasn't a game but practice.

So here we go...I know I need some work but what can I say for the first time with a new camera. Maybe 50 previous clicks before venturing out. Look a little hot because I forgot about the -.7 I read about.

I got to the Baseball game late and didn't get to ask the Ump about getting on the field, had to shoot this through the fence.

Runner is milliseconds after the start of the 400.

They are a little hot. this takes time so keep working at it. My best advice is to learn to shoot in M mode and get Brian Petersens book, Understanding Exposure:...you are on your way!
