no Light on 580 flashgun

Hi guys,

Not sure what has happend to my flashgun it was working the other day.

I have placed brand new batteries in the gun and can see the LCD display on the screen, but I am not getting either a green or red pilot LED light to fire the flash.

Any ideas on what this could be please ?
