LucisArt to be discontinued

This is a heads up for anyone interested in LucisArt. The current version of the plugin is about to be discontinued. The new version, called LucisArt Pro will be a plugin version of the Lucis Pro standalone application and will retail for $595. If you want to get the current version before the price increase, you must do so before May 8th, after which it will no longer be offered.

people will always try to stop you doing the right thing if it is unconventional

... or unpopular.. im seeing less and less " how do i get this dave hill look" posts..lol so Lucis is dumping the plugin for the Standalone LA pro? I wonder why that is.... another company is about to flod.. hopefully i still have all my product key and down loaded program.. better burn it to disc huh?

I think this plugin has been around longer than Dave Hill has really become popular and before his work was as well known.

I just copied my copy of Lucis to a cd... in case i lose it for some reason... I still dont believe they think folks will pay over $500.00 for it.. crazy!

My bad. I misread LucasArt as LucasFilm. I was expecting some blurb about George selling out to Bill.
