Hi guys,

Quick question for those that use GraphiStudio for their albums. I have just completed my first GraphiStudio album and is about to upload this for print. Checking the technical section it mentions no more than 24meg per page, is this only for FTP or includes CD/DVD?

For me PSD and TIFF is out of the question as the pages exceed 24meg, so I will have to stick with hi res JPG.

It also mentions to send the order form in by post, im UK based, so do I just send it to the UK address or Italy? Thanks.

Hi Yella...

I just submitted a job to Graphi not long ago.

Some tips:

If you're using their full service design, just send them hi-res JPGs (Quality 12). Those will usually be only around 4-5mb each. Be sure to rename them in a meaningful sequence (001, 002, etc.)

If you're doing print & bind (e.g. you create the design yourself ) you should export as JPG, Quality 12, at the recommended resolution and page dimensions per their spec sheet. And remember - the pages you upload are two-page panorama spreads. Not individual pages. The use continuous bind printing.

If you're using their FTP software you can scan in a copy of your order form as a PDF file and include it in the FTP job. (It will suck an entire folder up - I recommend doing it this way).

You can PM me for any other Graphi questions. I use them frequently.

Had gear, but sold it off. Starting back in with a SL1 / kit lens. Looking to expand the collection.
