Not the best Picture but it's my first ( of many I hope ) of a wood Duck, This was taken on a beaver pond ( and yes I got pic's of the beaver also ).

Thank you very much. I have wanted to get one of these for a long time now that I know where they are locally I will try to get better ( closer ) shots.

Nice shots Mike. Wood ducks are so fickle, some days they pose and don't care, other days they hide or take off when they first see you. :)

I think fickle is going around today. I went to our NWR and saw some in the channel, as soon as the truck stopped, they left, flying away. :)
