Amazing how busy spring can be. Between working overtime, family events, and other 'spring' cleaning, I haven't had much computer time. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I have been MIA nonetheless. Still had plenty of time outdoors with the camera.

I took this yesterday at my favorite lake. The fishing wasn't good, but the weather was nice and I'm starting to see some return visitors. This eagle is a local resident, but was fairly kind to me today. It amazes me how cooperative they are when I'm in my boat. Set one foot on land, and they are GONE!!!

Starting to see the ospreys return. Will post some up when I get something decent.

Cracking shot but watch out for those sharpening halos around the bird's right leg. You can bring out feather detail during post porcessing by lassoing inside of the contrast boundary where halos occur and adding selective USM.
