I've just bought a Canon A560 about four days ago, but the annoying part is that it won't turn on. I've tried multiple newly recharged batteries, but it still won't turn on. Any ideas?

Check that the battery door is securely closed (open and relatch it a few times). If that doesn't fix it, swap it at the store.

Well yeah... The thing is, I've fidgeted with the camera yesterday and it just turned on (I think it was the zoom in button). And this morning, I tried turning it on again, but it was still unable to turn on. So then, I pressed the ON button and it turned on, but the lens were not on. I pressed the ON button again the lens turned on, but this time I heard something in the battery door. It sounded like the batteries. Any ideas and solutions?

If it's so erratic, take it back. Did the sample in the store work consistently?

I didn't try the sample; I just bought the camera =P. But it's good now. If it happens again, I'll just get another one. 'sides, I have an one year warranty.

It shouldn't have behaved like that. I would waste no time exchanging it!
