Just to share a point of view for those wishing to learn and do better with still life.
I like this shot because not just the fundamentals are right - ie composition and focus sharpness but also not everything has to be pin point sharp as long as the focus is precisely at the point you want the viewer to look at. Secondly, this seems subtle point but your subject point is where the light is.

Too many images of watches, the background is far brighter than the dark dials of the watch. One needs to control the light if the background is brighter than the subject. Hence the simple trick is to use darker backgrounds so that the spot metering can be done on the watch itself.

If necessary, use a snoot on a strobe and meter correctly.
