Wow. I bet that was something to see. I was at the Memphis Zoo myself that same weekend. Here's one of the lionesses in a....less aggressive moment.

I was a bit disappointed it ended up cut off as well. I have a vid where a heard of these guys were coming towards my family and I so we were cautious but they kept on running past us and climbing. Animals are unpredictable. But I'm always open to feedback and tips.

Will I hate myself if I trade my Canon 100-400L (version 1) for the Sigma 150-600? The 100-400 has been a great lens. The Sigma, of course, would provide additional range. I hope not at the expense of the resolution!! A friend of mine has the Sigma 150-600... good bang for the bucks IMHO... but I wouldn't trade my Canon 100-400 for one. Maybe save up and get the Sigma, then decide if you want to sell the Canon.

This lens is easier to travel with than the 100-400. 5D Mark III, Canon 80D,16-35L, 24-105L, 70-300L IS, 100-400L IS, Nifty 50 1.4, Canon 135L, Canon 85 1.8, Canon EFS 18-135, Canon 55-250, Sigma 150 Macro, EFS-18-135, Sigma 150-600 Contemporary, Extension Tubes, Canon G10
