I was at a training session for a new gig and the speaker said raise your hands if you have used nikon...1 person raised their hand ,How many have used Canon 19 people raised their hands ...even I was shocked (the company provides nikon d70s to us) we played with them and it did have some features I liked . (but not enough to change)

It really depends on where you are... I know a lot of Canon shooters around here but on occasion I'll be shooting a gig with only one other Canon user - the other 8 or 9 will be using Nikons. Most of the time there's more Canons, though.
