Yeah I agree.
But I would hate how they will brag about theirs being better and a lot cheaper. Ok I don't care, I don't know what I would say if I got a comment like that. Any tips on what I should say? Ha.

Take him into a dim lit room with your 50mm 1.8(assuming you have one) and take a picture of someone and compare your pictures. Done deal.

I was thinking of if I have the 70-200 f/4 L, to maybe just give him one over the head, but your way is much more humane. Ha.

...when you actually read the photo credits in the newspaper.

...when you're at a college basketball game and every time the strobes in the rafters go off you suddenly tune-out the game and try to figure out which photographer took the picture. (and I love watching sports!)

...When your wife renovates the Living room during one of your business trips, and when she asks you "So, what do you think about it?" your first mental response is "You stepped it down two stops" , but instead you simply reply "wow!, are those all clocks? that is cool. That is a lot of clocks. In one room. How Fun!"... and you look for an excuse to run out of the ticking room, in order to get your lightmeter and prove yourself right.

... When you're going down 20 stories on a VERY slow elevator, and you're mostly frustrated because none of your lenses are wide enough to capture a good view of the interior.

when you stare at a near by object then see how long it takes to focus a further object
and see if your eye would be faster then your camera

when u notice an attractive scene, then you shut one eye to see if it still looks as cool with only a single viewpoint and no depth perception, before you take the photo

(sparkles on water is a good candidate for this treatment)

... When you have one eye removed and donated (perhaps in exchange for an extra lens), so that you can see if it still looks as cool with only a single viewpoint and no depth perception, before you take the photo. ;)

When you think your eyeglasses suffer from bad CA in the edges, and immediately reach for those correction sliders in Lightroom...

Infamy !!!... Off with his head!...

:p

(Or at least take one of his lenses and send it to me.... worth a try, right?)

Seriously though, I always look at the average of daily posts. 10000 times more important than total amount of posts.

I love having dreams about photography.
Last night I had a dream that I got a 30D with a 70-200 f/4 L (My first DSLR Kit I would like but most likely wont be able to afford.) Well then I went ghost hunting with it at a house and when the ghost came at me, I hit it with the L Glass! Ha, you guys give me bad idea's.
