Ok, I'm going to start off by saying that I do not know the model of this camera, I just picked a random section and hoped you guys and gals will answer me.
My friends used a Canon camera (Not a camcorder) to videotape a group of us doing a bunch of things. It's an older camera, and I know for sure it's not a G model. We were driving back to another guys house to put the videos on the computer, edit them together, all that jazz. Keep in mind that we watched them in the car, too, so all has been well so far. Well, we put the memory card into the, computer, the files show up on the screen, we go to open them, and... the files were coded and they couldn't be opened. So we put the memory card back into the camera and it said memory card error. And we can't get the files back now.
Does anyone know what this problem is? Is it related to Vista, and can we get the memory back?

Good luck
