To me, a vignette is a light falloff on the corners which translates into a dark fade rather than just a blur. I think he meant depth of field, but what would be nice, is for him to jump in and tell us exactly what he did mean. Gary

It would also rule out post processing because of the title of the thread.. he is asking if there is a "mode" on the sd1000 for blur. So it simply couldn't mean photoshop as he is definitely talking about on-camera functionality.
